Our Top Ten Favorite Restaurants

We at 'Top Ten' love to eat out and so we've put together a list of our favorite Vegas eateries. From hotel restaurants to small local favorites, these are the places we keep going back to cause they're just that good! Let's feast!


10. Mary's Hash House

Location: 2605 S Decatur Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, 89102

Food Type: Comfort Food - Breakfast, Lunch

Favorite Dishes: Eggs & thick-cut Smoked Applewood Bacon, Home Fries

'sWhy we love it: Nothing fancy or pretentious, just good, down home food that can't be passed up! From traditional breakfast favorites like omelets, biscuits and gravy and fresh-baked cinnamon rolls to home-made jams and jellies, this local favorite has won may hearts since opening in 1994.


Location: 9640 W. Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV, 89147

Food Type: Mexican

Favorite Dishes: Queso Fundido, Flaming Fajitas, En Cebollada Con Jalapenos

Why we love it: The chef at this local favorite opened this restaurant a few years back and the following has been steadily growing ever since, so much so that demand warranted 2 new locations in Henderson and Aliante. Always busy, always delicious - the traditional and varied menu has great food to suit all tastes.

Food Type: Comfort Food - Breakfast & Lunch

Favorite Dishes: Patty Melt, Chocolate Chip Pancakes

Why we love it: This All-American diner is a true Las Vegas staple. Originally opening in 1969 on what was at the time the edge of town, this restaurant has grown along with the city. Serving up tasty, home-made dishes with a friendly smile, this local favorite hits at the heartstrings of good, old-fashioned memories.


Location: 4041 Linq Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Food Type: Italian

Favorite Dishes: Veal Parmigiana, Lasagna

Why we love it: Battistas was one of the first restaurants Las Vegas Top Ten Tours dined at many years ago and it was definitely an experience! This throwback to the 1970's, offers a traditional Italian menu and even comes with free house wine. Eclectic décor fills the walls, along with the expected photographs. Don't miss Gordy, the strolling accordion player - who is truly a Vegas legend. This is the kind of place you just know the mob probably used to eat at!


Location: 4950 S. Rainbow, Unit 160, Las Vegas, NV, 89118

Food Type: Greek

Favorite Dishes: Saganaki, Gyro Meraki

Why we love it: This place is always busy and you know a busy place means the food is pretty damn good! Oversized portions, delicious fresh ingredients and friendly staff make this a local favorite. This is the original location, but there is also another in Summerlin in the valley's north west.

Food Type: Persian

Favorite Dishes: Hummus, KGB

Why we love it: This little hidden gem attached to a marketplace & deli is a rare find in Las Vegas. The hummus is the best in town and the Koobideh is pretty delicious too! This family owned and operated restaurant cooks with recipes from the Iranian Bazaar where their grandparents owned restaurants. With food so steeped in traditions, you can't help but taste the love.


Location: Caesars Palace

Food Type: Buffet

Favorite Dishes:

Why we love it: Vegas is known around the world for buffets and we're happy to report they have gotten significantly better over the years! The granddaddy of them all is the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. You have 90 minutes to literally eat your way around the globe with specialty dishes from dozens of countries. You can feast on pretty much anything you can dream up.


Location: Cromwell Hotel, 3595 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, 89109

Food Type: Italian with a Californian Twist

Favorite Dishes: Orzo Meatballs, Lemon Spaghetti, Lemon Ricotta Cookies

Why we love it: Giada De Laurentiis changes her menus often, but one thing you can always count on is bright, flavorful, exquisitely crafted food. The pasta is always made in-house and is always scrumptious. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. And you simply have to leave room for dessert!

Food Type: Steak

Favorite Dishes: Carpaccio, Steaks, House Fries!

Why we love it: This hip place, located close to the Strip has a fresh take on Happy Hour. Theirs includes the steaks and lasts all night long! The cocktails are delicious, the steaks are of the highest quality and beautifully marbled and the sides are pretty much to die for! Be sure to check out the celebrity pics on the wall!


Braised Short Rib cooked low and slow in beef jus served with fried leeks, fennel puree and baby squash.

Location: Caesars Palace, 3570 Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV, 89109

Food Type: Contemporary Cuisine

Favorite Dishes: Lobster Risotto, Beef Wellington

Why we love it: You don't need to be a fan of the show to enjoy this place. The food is deceptively simple - just good, fresh, well cooked ingredients combined together to make deliciously tasting dishes. Oh, and the potato puree has to be the best we've ever had! Be sure to book as far in advance as possible to secure a table.
